Today sees the last day of the school holidays and also the Auckland Heritage Festival.  Congratulations to the new Auckland Mayor, Wayne Brown (97% of the votes are in).  Wayne has a big job ahead of him and I wish him well. 

As a Real Estate Agent, it is important that we upskill and keep abreast of the market trends so this knowledge can be passed on to our Vendors.   Today, myself and 49 other participants were fortunate to spend time with Tom Panos.  The guy is absolutely brilliant and has a great sense of humour.  He is passionate about what he does and this in turn is infectious. I learnt heaps today and was thoroughly entertained.  Many thanks, Tom.  Looking forward to seeing you again in January.

With more buyer activity out in the marketplace this week, it is looking as though the pace is slowing with regard to the lowering of house prices.  It is now 10 weeks before Christmas.  Don’t let Christmas be a stressful time for you.  If you have been on the market and have had no offers,  please give me a call.  7 Kukupa Road (sold recently) was marketed by another company for 90 days and no joy, then sold by myself after seven weeks, with two offers presented during that time.   Let me help you make that sale before Christmas.
